There are several brands and models of HDTVs in the marketplace. The features and connectors are not the same on all brands and models.

About SDTVs (Standard Definition)

If you have an SDTV , you will need to go through the set-up mode on the 8000HD to set it to SD mode.

If your SDTV has YPbPr inputs, the 8000HD will function with these inputs only when outputting in the 480i screen resolution mode.
