TroubleshootingCheck the following list for possible problems. If a problem
occurs, you may be able to easily resolve it before calling your
cable service provider.
The VCR
Commander Menu
option does not
appear on the screen.

Call your cable service
provider.
Try another VCR code for
your VCR brand or enter

A blank tape is
not in the VCR.
Your DHCT is not
authorized for VCR
Commander service.
After entering
your VCR code,
the VCR will not
turn on.
The VCR is not off.
The IR Blaster
is improperly
positioned.
VCR Timer is
improperly set.

Blocking should be done
