2.10Environmental specifications

Note. The removable drive cartridge should be stored for less than 60 days when exposed to continuous maximum temperature and humidity conditions of 40°C (104°F) and 80% relative humidity. Exceed- ing this duration in these conditions may result in loss of data.

2.10.1Ambient temperature

Ambient temperature is defined as the temperature of the environment immediately surrounding the drive. Actual drive case temperature should not exceed 65°C (149°F) within the operating ambient conditions.

Above 1,000 feet (305 meters), the maximum temperature is derated linearly by 1°C every 1000 feet.
