zigzag stizches on garnmnt construction,
YOU may want to overcast along the raw
edge of uch mm allowance or fold the raw
edge toward the garment end stitch.

Use Satin stitch foot which is _ to
permit der_ stitching to pass under it easily,
Whenever you eta u_ng this stitch, it is well
to rememb_ to lOOSenthe' tension of the top
thread _dightiy, The wider tim stitch you
make, the toosw the tension should be.
If yOUare stitchir_g on avery wft fabric, use e
backing of _paper or interfacing for a
well formed stiteh, Puckering of the matmisl
will be elkntrmted and the bobbin thread will
not be visible on the dght side of the fa_ic.
As with elispecial stitches, it is best to make
a sample design on your fabricbefore starting
the desert onthe garment,

Choose this stitch to reinforce points of strain
such as corners of pockets and straps on
lingerie,
Sew 4 to 6 stitches using a medium-width
zigzag,
