WATER HARDNESS AFFECTS CHOICE OF LAUNDRY AIDS
Water hardness is determined by
amount of minerals in water. Minerals react with soap and form scum and curd. Scum may remain on laundry, causing yellowing or gray, dingy clothing. HARDNESS IS MEASURED IN GRAINS PER GALLON.

Follow package directions for dying in the washer. After dying, clean
washer thoroughly by running a complete cycle using detergent and 1 cup chlorine bleach.
The tub and agitator may become dye stained but this will not harm the finish or transfer color to other wash loads.
1.Pour bleach in dispenser.
2.Then pour in water which flushes bleach from dis-
penser so no bleach re- mains in dispenser to carry over to next load of wash.
POWDERED BLEACH must not be used in bleach dispenser. Add powdered bleach to wash water, following directions on package.

To remove dispenser from agitator cap just pull up and off.
TO CLEAN DISPENSER:
Thoroughly rirse out_dispe_ser in warm water to eliminate buildup of fabric softener. Lid can be snapped
off for easier cl.eaning. After clean- ing, snap lid firmly in place. Any
black, waxy residue can be removed by washing in hot soapy water. Use only bar soap products. Laundry or
dishwashing detergents are not suitable.
