FULL ONEYEAR WARRANTY ON MECHANICAL
OR ELECTRICAL PARTS AND MECHANICAL
ADJUSTMENTS •
For one year from the date of purchase, when the Kenmore Laun-
dry Center washer/dryer is installed and operated in accordance
with the instructions in the owner's manual and installation
manual, Sear s will repair or replace any mechanical or electrical
parts in this washer ldryer, if defective in material or workmanship,
and pef_rm any necessary adjustments, at no charge.
LIMITED WARRANTY ON
WASHER GEAR CASE
After oneyear and until five yearsfrom the date of purchase, Sears
will furnish areplacement gear case, if defective in material or
workmanship. You will be responsible for labor.
The above warranty coverage applies to Kenmore Laundry Center
used for private family purposes only.
WARRANTY SERVICE IS AVAILABLE BY CONTACTING
THE NEAREST SEARS SERVICE CENTER IN THE UNITED
STATES.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have
other rights which vary from state to state.

SEARS MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT

Kenmore Laundry Center is engineered,
manufactured and tested for years of depend-
able operation. Yet, any precision machine
may require service from time to time. A
Sears Maintenance Agreement relieves you
completely of undue inconvenience and un-
expected repair bills. It
*Extends mechanical adjustment and service
on a new Kenmore Laundry Center beyond
the warranty period.
*Includes all parts and labor at no addi-
tional cost.
*Covers all serv-tce calls and necessary
repairs any time for the entire period of the
Maintenance Agreement.
•Provides a complete Prevention Mainte-
nance check during the last month of the
Maintenance Agreement, at your request
and convenience.., as listed.
• Complete operational check of switches
and valves.
• Operation check of Timer settings.
• Check belts for wear and tension.
• Check all moving parts and oil leaks, and
lubricate as required.
•Check electrical system.
• Check pump and hoses.
•Check operation of timer, door switch and
thermostats.
• Check leveling and balance mechanisms.
• Check dispensers.
• Check elements and connections.
• Clean base and motor as needed, and check
drum seal.
•Inspect exhaust systems.
