The HMEC 466 is a pilot’s headset with closed ear protector headphones and NoiseGard™ active noise compensation for use in propeller and turbo prop air- craft. Its silver brushed surface gives it an exclusive and premium-class look. The new closed ear protector headset not only has an extra generously pad- ded headband and extremely soft ear pads, it also features 7.0 N contact pressure, 30 % less than its predecessor.

The HMEC 466 even includes sockets for multimedia applications:­ an extra

3.5mm Audio-In-socket for those who want to connect their MP3-player directly to the headset, and a 2.5 mm Cell-Phone-In-socket for the mobile phone. The HMEC 466 is equipped with Redel connector

to the cockpit.
