Wind protection
The quality of outdoor recordings and close miking can be impaired by wind noise. First of all, use the supplied MZC
An increased attenuation of wind noise can be obtained by using the MZW 1 basket windshield and the MZW 02 foam windshield .
To begin with, use the MZW 1 basket windshield which reduces wind noise by approx. 22 dB.
With the additional MZW 02 foam windshield you can reduce wind noise by a further 10 dB.
The MZW 1 and MZW 02 are available as accessories.
