IBM™

•Most IBM rack mountable products use a 3/8” square-holed “L”-style mounting rails.

•Typically products use 10-32 cage nuts and screws.

•If a front door is required, use a fully vented front door.

•If a front door is required, you may need to set all mounting rails back.

Sun™

•Sun has not published a corporate wide set of racking requirements for 3rd party cabinets.

•Check with a SharkRack Representative or www.sharkrack.com for recommended racking hardware.

•Most equipment works with the use of SharkRack’s 3/8” square-holed L-style mounting rails.

•Many of Sun rack mount kits use 10-32 cage nuts and screws, but some of their newer equipment uses M6 hardware.
