- Changing the default settings of the amplifier -
"Speaker level setting
If sounds from the speakers are uneven, you can equalize them by adjusting the
speaker levels.
Note:
If subwoofer sound is distorted, lower the subwoofer level.
"Test ton e
You can check each speaker sound by a test tone. Readjust the volume set in
"Speaker level setting".
1Set the MODE 1/MODE 2 switch to MODE 2 and press the AMP SET
UP button.
2Within 10 seconds, press the or button to
select "SP LEVEL", and press the ENTER but-
ton.
3Within 10 seconds, press the or button to
select the desired speaker.
The indicator of the selected speaker flashes.
4Within 10 seconds, press the or button to
adjust the level.
!You can adjust the level at 1 dB intervals.
!To adjust the levels of other speakers, repeat the op-
eration from step 3.
5Press the RETURN button twice.
The setting is complete.

FL Front speaker (Left) - 6 dB to + 6 dB 0 dB
CT Center speaker - 6 dB to + 6 dB 0 dB
FR Front speaker (Right) - 6 dB to + 6 dB 0 dB

SL Surround speaker (Left) - 6 dB to + 6 dB 0 dB

1Set the MODE 1/MODE 2 switch to MODE 2 and press the AMP SET

select "TONE", and press the ENTER button.
The test tone will be heard from each speaker, in order, at about 2-second inter-
vals.
To adjust speaker levels
While the test tone is heard:
Adjust the level with the or button.
Press the or to select a speaker.
3Press the RETURN button twice.
The setting is complete.
