Advanced Features

!Sleep operation

To confirm the remaining sleep time:

Press the TIMER/SLEE P button while the sleep timer is set.

The remaining sleep time is displayed for about 8 seconds.

To cancel the sleep operation:

Press the ON/STAND-BY button while the sleep tim er is set.

!To use t imer and sleep operation together

Example: To fall asleep and wak e up to the same radio station

You can play back the same source only (the function cannot be

switched).

1Play back the desired sound source.

2Press the TIMER/SLEEP button repeatedly until "SLEEP" is

displayed and then w ithin 8 seconds, press t he MEMORY/

SET butt on.

To change the sleep time:

While the sleep time is displayed, press the PRESET ( or )

button.

(Maximum: 3 hours - Minimum: 5 minutes)

3Within 30 seconds, press the MEMORY /SET button .

4The unit will enter the power stand-by mode automatically

after the preset time has elapsed.

The volume will be turned down 30 sec onds before the sleep

operation finishes.

2While the sleep timer is set, set the timer playback (steps 4
