SYSTEM INSTALLATION
Selecting Antennas
Use
Antennas come in different lengths for different frequen- cy bands: A (169±185 MHz), B (185±200 MHz), and C (200±230 MHz). For best performance, choose the antenna length that corresponds to your system's operating frequen- cy. When more than one frequency band is covered, select antennas as follows:
SIf the frequencies span two adjacent bands, select an- tennas for the lowest frequency band.
SIf the frequencies span all three bands, use one from the lowest band, and one from the highest band (one ªAº an- tenna and one ªCº antenna).
2.Connect the supplied antenna cables to the receiver an- tenna inputs and adapters. See Figure 4.

3.Install the antennas onto the bulkhead adapters pro- truding through the front panel. See Figure 5.
Antenna Extension Cables
Extension cables allow greater freedom for antenna placement. When operating conditions are less than ideal, they allow you to place antennas farther apart for better di- versity reception, or to place them closer to the transmitters.
NOTE: Use only
The following cables types are recommended:

Installing Front-Mounted Antennas
1.Insert the bulkhead adapters through the holes in each bracket, and secure them from each side using the sup- plied hardware. See Figure 3.
