XRemove batteries when the hearing instruments are not in use for a prolonged period of time.
XTurn your hearing instruments off when not in use to preserve the battery.

Risk in explosive environments, e.g. mining areas!
XDon't use your hearing instruments (and remote con- trol) in areas where there is a danger of explosions.
