ASSEMBLY
Remove the heater body and base from box. Remove the packaging materials.
1.Lay the heater body on a level surface, and then unscrew the 2 butterfly screws from the bottom of the heater.
2.Pull the power cord through the hole at the center of the base, and align the base with the bottom of the heater. The power cord should fit through the slot in the base.
3.Attach the base to the heater body with the butterfly screws.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Place the heater on a firm, level surface and plug into a grounded 120V 60Hz power outlet. Turn the knob located on top to the desired setting:
OPERATING THE HEATER:
•LOW: Both reflective tubes operate, heating up to 400W.
•HIGH: Both reflective tubes operate, heating up to 800W.
•LOW SWING: The unit will oscillate 60° on low power mode.
•HIGH SWING: The unit will oscillate 60° on high power mode.
•OFF: Heater will stop operating.
•Unplug the heater when not in use
NOTE: A
NOTE: For safety, if the heater’s internal temperature rises above a certain point, the heater is designed to automatically shut off. To restart the heater in this situation:
1.Turn the Operating Knob to OFF.
2.Unplug the power cord from the outlet and allow the heater to cool for at least 10 minutes.
3.Plug the power cord back into the outlet. Turn the knobs located on top to select the desired setting.
WARNING: It is normal for the power cord to feel warm to the touch; however, a loose fit between the outlet and the plug may cause overheating of the plug. If this occurs, try inserting the plug into a different outlet. Contact a qualified electrician to inspect the original outlet for damage.
