Welcome to the RioVolt SP350, your complete portable solution for audio CD and MP3/WMA CD playback. The SP350 includes Electronic Shock Protection (ESP), which buffers up to 32 minutes of digital audio to help prevent skipping. Follow these steps to get started:

Make sure your package includes the following:

Charge Batteries
1.Press the OPEN button to release the latch and open the player.
2.Remove the battery compartment cover inside the player.
3.Insert the two supplied 1400mAH rectangular NiMH rechargeable batteries. Ensure the batteries are inserted properly by matching the + and - on each battery with the symbols on the player.
4.Replace the battery compartment cover. Close the player.
5.Connect the supplied AC adapter into the DC IN JACK on the side of the player. Let the batteries charge for at least five hours before using the player.
6.When the batteries are charged, unplug the AC adapter and disconnect it from the player.
Note: Do not play CDs with the RioVolt while the batteries are charging.

Insert Disc
Your RioVolt supports the following music formats:
•MP3 digital music files
•WMA digital music files
•Standard music CDs (Red Book)
1.Press and slide the OPEN button to release the latch and open the player.
2.Insert an audio CD or MP3/WMA CD into the player, label side up.
3.Close the player.
Tip: The RioVolt SP350 can play CDs with the following logos:

1. Press the PLAY/PAUSE | button to turn on the player and begin playback. |
Note: There will be a short delay while the player loads your music tracks and track information.
2.Press the STOP button to stop playback. Press and hold STOP
to turn off the player.
Use the software included on the CDs to encode your audio CDs into MP3/WMA formats, organize your digital audio collection, or burn a custom CD. Please refer to the software online help within each application for instructions on using the software.
Connect Headphones
Connect the supplied headphones to the MULTIFUNCTION port on the side of the player. If you are using the remote control, plug the headphones into the remote control, and plug the remote control into the MULTIFUNCTION port on the side of the player.
Tip: You can also use the LINE OUT jack to connect the player to the included Car Kit accessories or to an external audio system.
