Using the mode dial

Set the mode dial to the desired function.

(Movie Mode) Allows you to record movies (page28).

(Sweep Panorama) Allows you to shoot a panoramic image after composing images

(page24).

(Manual Exposure

Shooting)

Allows you to shoot after adjusting the exposure manually (both the

shutter speed and the aperture (F value)) (page23).

(Program Auto) Allows you to shoot with the exposure adjusted automatically (both

the shutter speed and the aperture (F value)) (page 22). You can set

various functions using the menu.
