Available OPTIONS
1Press OPTIONS.
The options menu appears.
2Select an item using M/m, and press
ENTER.
The available items differ depending on
the situation.
Various music playback operations

• The point where you stopped playing (resume
point) is cleared from memory when:
–you open the disc tray, or
–y ou turn off the player.
• The player can play the following MP3 audio
tracks.
–For mat: MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3
–Sa mpling frequency: 32 kHz/44.1 kHz/48 kHz
–Number of channels: 2ch
–B it rate: 64 kbps to 320 kbps
–F ile size: 1 GB Max
–P laying time: 1 sec to 9,000 sec
–Ex tension: .mp3/.MP3
–Nu mber of tracks: Up to 500 tracks (incl.
albums if any)
• The player does not recognise the following MP3
albums/tracks.
–MP3 albums/tracks with extremely long names
–M P3 albums containing MP3 audio tracks with
extremely long names
–M P3 albums in the 5th tree and MP3 albums/
tracks in the 6th tree or lower
• The player cannot play the following MP3
albums/tracks.
–M P3 audio tracks recorded in monaural
–MP3 albums/tracks recorded on BD-Rs in any
format other than UDF (Universal Disk Format)

format other than UDF (Universal Disk Format)

• The elapsed time of some MP3 audio tracks may
not be displayed correctly.

Play Plays the selected track.
Play from start Plays the current track
from the beginning
(music CDs only).
Stop Stops playing the track.
Buttons Operations
NStarts or re-starts playback.
Resumes playback from the
point where you pressed x
(except MP3 audio tracks).
xStops playback.
XPauses playback.
./>Skips to the beginning of the
current or next track. To go
to the previous track press
. twice.
m/MFast reverses/fast forwards
when pressed during
playback.
TIME Switches time information
on the screen and the front
panel display (page13).
AUDIO Selects stereo or monaural
tracks (except MP3 audio
tracks).
