The sound from the iPod/iPhone is played
on the system.
When you play a video file, switch the input
selector on your TV so that the signal from
the iPod/iPhone appears on your TV screen.
You can operate the iPod/iPhone using the
buttons on the remote.
For operation details of the iPod/iPhone,
also refer to the operating instructions of the
iPod/iPhone.
•To change a system setting, such as the surr ound
setting, while viewing images from your iPod/iPhone
on your TV, select the input on your TV for this
system before operating the system.
To operate the iPod/iPhone using
the remote
You can operate the iPod/iPhone using the
buttons on the remote. The following table
shows an example of buttons that can be used.
(Depending on the iPod/iPhone model, the
operation may be different.)

•The iPod/iPhone is charged when connecte d to the
system while the system is turned on.
•When [Auto Standby] is set to [On], the system may
turn off automatically while you are using an iPod/
iPhone.
•You cannot transfer songs onto the iP od/iPhone from
this system.
•Sony cannot accept responsibili ty in the event that
data recorded to iPod/iPhone is lost or damaged when
using an iPod/iPhone connected to this unit.
•This product has been designed specifically to wor k
with iPod/iPhone and has been certified to meet
Apple performance standards.
•Do not remove the iPod/iPhone d uring operation. To
avoid data corruption or damage to the iPod/iPhone,
turn the system off when connecting or removing the
iPod/iPhone.
•The system only recognizes iPods/iPhone s that have
previously been connected to the system.
•The System Audio Control function does not work
while playing video/photo files via the iPod/iPhone.
•When you connect an iPod that is no t compatible with
the video output function and select [iPod (front)]
or [iPod (rear)] in [Video] or [Photo], an alert
message appears on the TV screen.
•The system can recognize up to 3,000 fil es (including
folders).
