Edit Text Dialog Box

The Edit Text dialog box is used to create and edit text material.

Properties Button

Opens the Properties dialog box to specify the properties of the text material, such as color or display type.

Read Text File Button

Selects a text file and imports its text to use as a piece of text material.

Font Size in this window Drop-down List Box

Selects the font size of text material used in this dialog box. Use the Properties dialog box to specify the actual size of the text displayed by the NSP-100 (Available only for a font installed on the PC).

Hint

The Edit Text dialog box can be enlarged. Move the mouse pointer around the frame of the dialog box, and drag the point where the pointer shape turns into an arrow until the dialog box becomes the desired size.

Type, Column-Line and Total Indications

Indicates the display type of the text, such as blink or scroll, the position (column and line) of the current text cursor position, and the number of characters entered in the text, respectively.

To change the type, click [Properties].

Contents Text Boxes

Used to enter text to be displayed.

Selecting a part of a piece of text and right-clicking it shows the menu used for text editing.

ISO 8859-1 (ASCII 8-bit code table Latin-1) characters can be used for the text material using the font installed in the NSP-100 and material/playlist titles.

The maximum number of characters, depending on the text type, is as follows. The number of characters for each line is designated so as to allow the text to be shown fully on any type of display.
