When a font installed on the PC is used, the text material will be sent to the network players as graphics data. The maximum number of characters varies depending on the color depth, font size, and width of the characters. The following table shows rough estimates.

Duration
Shows the estimated minimum duration that is necessary to display the text material (two seconds for constant or blinking text). This changes according to the number of characters or the specified scrolling speed.
Urgent Section (Play and Stop Buttons)
The play button is used to send text entered to the group selected in the Material Management window, and to start playout as soon as possible. This is referred to as "urgent playout." The stop button stops urgent playout of the selected group.
Note
The urgent playout function interrupts playout currently being carried out on the network player. The entered text will be displayed on the piece of material that is being played, or the selected text will override the text that is being played, if any.
Also, scheduled playout will not start during urgent playout. Check the network player status in the
Save Button
Saves text entered as a piece of text material.
