Transfer to the Network Players

Sending Playlists to Network Players

When the playlist and the necessary materials are ready, send them to the network players. Sending a playlist automatically sends the necessary materials, too. The Scheduling Application automatically sends everything that is necessary for playout on the day when you click the Send button on the main menu after specifying the date and destination network player group.

Hint

The system does not send the playlists and materials if they are already stored on the network player.

The system provides an automatic playlist sending function that can be enabled in the Setup window. Once this function is enabled, sending playlists and materials is not necessary during normal operation. See "Setting Up the Software" for details.

1Click [Material Management] on the main menu if the Material Management window is not open.

2Select the Playlist tab.

3Select the destination network player group from the Destination drop-down list box. The playlists created for the selected network player group appear.

4Select the playlist(s) to be sent.

To select more than one playlist, hold down the Ctrl key and click them one by one. To select a range of playlists, hold down the Shift key and click both the first and last playlists in the range.

5Click [Send].

The system starts transfer of the playlists. It enables you to check the transfer status in the Transfer Status window. See "Checking Transfer Status" for details.
