The Phone lock prevents unauthorized use of your phone if it is stolen or if the SIM card is exchanged. The security code is not set when you buy the phone. You can change the security code (0000) to any

A security code is required for the functions “Call time reset”, “Factory reset” and “Delete all entries”.

If the phone lock is set to “on”, you are requested to enter the all phone lock code every time you turn on the phone.
Off
The security code is not used.
If other SIM
This setting is necessary when you are using a different SIM card.
