Adjusting the focus for an off- center subject — SPOT FOCUS
You can select and adjust the focal point to aim it at a subject not in the center of the screen.
1 Touch during recording or in the standby mode.
2 Touch [SPOT FOCUS].
If the item is not displayed on the screen,
touch / . If you cannot find it, touch MENU, then select it from the (CAMERA SET) menu.

Follow steps 1 and 2, then select [AUTO] in step 3, or set [FOCUS] to [AUTO] (p. 31).

•You cannot use the SPOT FOCUS function together with [PROGRAM AE].

•When [SPOT FOCUS] is selected, [FOCUS] is automatically set to [MANUAL].
