Neverputyourhandinto thecartridge compartment.The thermalheadreaches hightemperatures, especiallyafterrepeated printing.

•Iftheprintcartridgeis notloadedwhenyou turnontheprinter,the warningsoundbeeps andthecartridgeerror indicatorlightsup.

•Wheninstallingthe printcartridge,standit onendasillustratedso thatdustwillnotgeton theinkribbon.

•Donottouchtheink ribbonorplacethe printcartridgeina dustylocation. Fingerprintsorduston theinkribbonmay resultinimperfect printing.

Inserttheprintcartridgeintotheprinter.

Useonlytheprintcartridgesuppliedwiththeprint paperpackedinthesamecarton.

1 PressPUSHtoopenthecartridgecompartmentlid.

2 Inserttheprintcartridgefirmlyuntilitclicksinto placeandclosethecartridgecompartmentlid.

Removetheprintcartridge,andthenre-insertit. Onlywhentheinkribbonistooslacktobeloaded, windtheinkribbontoremovetheslack.
