Enjoying the surround sound effects

To enjoy the surround sound effects of this player or your amplifier (receiver), set the following items as described below for the audio connection you selected on pages 22 to 24 ( B through D ). Each of these is the default setting and does not need to be adjusted when you first connect the player. See page 66 for using the Setup Display.

Attaching the Stand

You can use the player laid horizontally, or in an vertical position. Be sure to attach the supplied stand when using in the vertical position.

1 Fit the projection of the stand into the slot on the side of the player.

2 Slide the stand back and forth to align the screw holes.

Select two screw holes to decide the foot position.

3 Secure the two supplied screws.

4 Stand the player up.
