You can select the recording format (bit-rate, image quality, image size, frame rate, scanning

system). In the default setting, [ ] is selected.

To change the setting

Press MENU t select (REC/OUT SET) t [REC FORMAT] with the SEL/PUSH

EXEC dial.

Setting value

If you select [ ], for example, movies are recorded with following format.

•HD: High defi nition image quality. SD is standard definition image quality.

•1080: Effe ctive scanning lines

•50: Frame rate

•i: Scanni ng system

•FX: Recording mode

• The recording mode is fixed to FX or FH with the progressive scanning system.
