Smiles may not be detected depending on the recording conditions, subject conditions and the settings of your camcorder.

When [DUAL CAPTURE] is selected, appears on the LCD screen in movie recording

standby, and changes into when movie recording starts.

Tips

If a smile is not detected, set the [SMILE SENSITIVITY] (p. 69).

You can select the subject that has priority for smile detection with [SMILE PRIORITY] (p. 69).

SMILE SENSITIVITYSets the smile detection sensitivity using the SMILE SHUTTER function.HIGHDetects even a slight smile.MEDIUMDetects a normal smile.LOWDetects a big smile.SMILE PRIORITYSelects the priority subject for the SMILE SHUTTER function.
