使用上のご注意
分解しないでくださいミニディスクプレーヤーに使われているレーザ ー光が目にあたると危険です。
レンズに触れないでくださいレンズが汚れると音飛びが起きたり、再生でき なくなったりする場合があります。
また、ほこりがつかないように、ディスクの出し 入れ以外はふたを開けないでください。
充電について•充電には必ず付属の充電器をお使いください。
•付属の充電器では、指定の電池以外は充電し ないでください。
•お買い上げ時や長い間使わなかった充電式電 池では持続時間が短いことがあります。これ は電池の特性によるもので、数回使えば充分 充電されるようになります。
•充電式電池を充分に充電しても使える時間が 通常の半分くらいになったときは、新しい充 電式電池と取り換えてください。
•長時間使用しないときは、充電式電池を本体 から取り出しておいてください。
•充電が終わったら、早めに充電器をコンセン トから抜いてください。長時間差したままに すると、電池の性能を低下させることがあり ます。
•充電中は充電器や充電式電池が熱くなります が、危険はありません。
日本国内での充電式電池の廃棄について長時間お使いになったときに、本体の温度が上昇 することがありますが、故障ではありません。
動作音について本機は省電力の動作方式になっています。 そのため、動作中は断続的に動作音がしますが 故障ではありません。
ヘッドホンについて付属のヘッドホンは音もれ防止タイプですが、 音量を上げすぎると音が外にもれます。音量を 上げすぎて、まわりの人の迷惑にならないよう に気をつけましょう。雑音の多いところでは音 量を上げてしまいがちですが、ヘッドホンで聞 くときはいつも呼びかけられて返事ができるく らいの音量を、目安にしてください。
リモコンについて付属のリモコンは本機専用です。また、他機種 に付属のリモコンでは本機の操作はできませ ん。
ミニディスクの取り扱いについて•ミニディスク自体はカートリッジに収納さ れ、ゴミや指紋を気にせず手軽に取り扱える ようになっています。ただし、カートリッジ のよごれや反りなどが誤動作の原因になるこ ともあります。いつまでも美しい音で楽しめ るように次のことにご注意ください。
—ミニディスクに直接触れない
シャッターを手で開けないでください。 無理に開けるとこわれます。

Press AVLS (Automatic Volume Limiter System) on the player to display “AVLS ON” on the remote control.
The volume is kept at a moderate level, even if you try to turn the volume above the limited level.

本体の乾電池ケース取り付け部について
本体に、充電式電池が入ったままの状態で、取り 付け部の端子が金属などとつながると、ショート して発熱することがあるので危険です。
バックなどに入れて持ち運ぶときは、付属のキャ リングポーチに入れてください。
取り扱いについて•落としたり、強いショックを与えたりしない でください。故障の原因になります。
•リモコンやヘッドホンのコードを強くひっぱ らないでください。
•次のような場所には置かないでください。
—温度が非常に高いところ（60℃以上）
—直射日光の当たる場所や暖房器具の近く
—窓を閉めきった自動車内（とくに夏季）
—風呂場など、湿気の多いところ
—磁石、スピーカー、テレビなどの磁気を帯 びたものの近く
—ほこりの多いところ

直射日光が当たるところなど温度の高いと ころや湿度の高いところには置かないでく ださい。また、砂浜など、ディスクに砂が 入る可能性のあるところには放置しないで ください。
—定期的にお手入れを
カートリッジ表面についたほこりやゴミ を、乾いた布でふき取ってください。
•ディスクに付属のラベルは所定以外の位置に 貼らないでください。必ず、ラベル用のくぼ みに合わせて貼ってください。
万一故障した場合は、内部を開けずに、お買い 上げ店またはソニーのサービス窓口にご相談く ださい。
お手入れ
表面が汚れたときは表面が汚れたときは、水気を含ませた柔らかい 布で軽くふいたあと、からぶきをします。シン ナー、ベンジン、アルコールなどは表面を傷め ますので使わないでください。
ヘッドホンおよびリモコンプラグのお 手入れについて常によい音でお聞きいただくために、プラグを ときどき柔らかい布でからぶきし、清潔に保っ てください。汚れていると、雑音や音切れの原 因になることがあります。

再生中に音がとぎれる
•振動の多い場所に置いている。
b 振動の少ない場所で使ってください。
•ナレーションやイントロなど1曲の録音時間が極 端に短いと、音がとぎれることがあります。
雑音が多い
•テレビなど強い磁気を帯びたものの近くに置 いている。
b テレビなどから離して置いてください。
瞬間的なノイズが聞こえる
•LP4（4倍モード）でステレオ録音された音を 再生している。
b LP4ステレオ録音した音を再生した場合、 圧縮方式の特性により、ごくまれに瞬間的 なノイズが聞こえることがあります。
充電できない
•充電池が充電器の中にしっかり入っていな い。

•Settings cannot be changed through the operation buttons on the player.
•When you use the Digital Sound Preset, the sound may break or become distorted when the volume is turned up too high, depending on the settings.
To know the track name and playing time EDuring playback, press DISPLAY on the remote control.Each time you press DISPLAY, the elapsed time of the current track and the track number, the track name and number, the disc name and the number of tracks recorded on the MD, the mode that the track was recorded in and number appear.
The mode that each track was recorded in is indicated as follows:

When to recharge or replace the batteryWhen the battery indication changes to r, the rechargeable battery or the dry battery is weak. Recharge the rechargeable battery or replace the dry battery. When the battery is exhausted, “LOW BATT” flashes in the display on the remote control and the power goes off.

The battery life may be shorter depending on operating conditions, the surrounding temperature, and the battery type.
