Follow the instructions below if a message appears in the display.

ACCESS | The player is accessing the flash |

To initialize the flash memory
If “FLASH ERR” appears in the display, there is an error in the data in the
1Connect the Network Walkman to your computer.
After the computer recognizes the Network Walkman, the Portable Player window opens and the song titles stored in the Network Walkman appear. (pages 12 and 13)
2Click [Initialize] from the [Portable Player] menu of the OpenMG Jukebox.
The confirmation dialog box appears.
3Click [Yes.]
Initializing starts automatically and “ACCESS” flashes in the display.
After initializing, all song titles are cleared in the Portable Player window. If the portable player name is specified, it is also cleared.
4Remove the dedicated USB cable from the Network Walkman. Be sure to remove the cable before performing the next operation.
Note
Do not disconnect the dedicated USB cable during initialization.
