Changing the setting of synchro-recording

— Only for NW-MS77DR

You can select the setting for synchro-recording. If you set synchro-recording to “ON,” recording will start automatically when a sound (signal) from the recording source (CD player, etc.) is detected (only when recording from the digital audio device using the optical digital cable). If a silent portion of the recording source is detected, recording will pause automatically. When sound is detected again, recording restarts.

Notes

Synchro-recording cannot be used when recording from an analog audio device.

During synchro-recording, you cannot pause or continue recording manually.

Do not change the synchro-recording setting while recording. Recording may not complete correctly.

Even if there is a silent portion in the recording source, recording may not pause automatically if noise is present in the recording source.

If there is a silent portion for a few seconds in a song during synchro-recording, a new track is created from the point where the sound is detected again.
