¥The speaker grille cannot be removed. Do not attempt to remove the grille on the speaker system. If you try to remove it, you may damage the speaker (for center and surround speakers only).
¥The volume level should not be turned up to the point of distortion. If you encounter color irregularity on a nearby TV screenThe front and center speakers are magnetically shielded to allow it to be installed near a TV set. However, color irregularities may still be observed on certain types of TV sets. As the surround speakers are not magnetically shielded, we recommend that you place the surround speakers slightly further away from TV set.
If color irregularity is observed...cTurn off the TV set, then turn it on again in 15 to 30 minutes. If color irregularity is observed again...cPlace the speakers further away from the TV set.If howling occursReposition the speakers or turn down the volume on the ampliÞer.On placement¥Do not set the speakers in an inclined position.¥Do not place the speakers in locations that are: ÑExtremely hot or coldÑDusty or dirty ÑVery humid ÑSubject to vibrations ÑSubject to direct sunlight¥Use caution when placing the speaker on a specially treated (waxed, oiled, polished, etc.) ßoor, as staining or discoloration may result.

To put the center speaker on your TV set, attach a foot pads (supplied) to each bottom corner of the speaker, and make sure that the speaker is completely ßat on top of the TV.
Setting the surround and surround back speakers
To install the surround and surround back speakers on a wall, follow the steps below.
1 Prepare screws (not supplied) that are suitable for the hole on the back of each speaker (E).
2 Fasten the screws to the wall. The screws should protrude 5 to 7 mm (F).3 Hang the surround and surround back speakers on the screws (G).Notes¥Use screws that are suitable for the wall material and strength. As a plaster board wall is especially fragile, attach the screws securely to a beam and fasten them to the wall. Install the surround and surround back speakers on a vertical and ßat wall where reinforcement is applied.
¥Contact a screw shop or installer regarding the wall material or screws to be used.
¥Sony is not responsible for accident or damage caused by improper installation, insufÞcient wall strength or improper screw installation, natural calamity, etc.
