Connecting External Speakers/Headphones/Headset
You can connect external sound output devices (such as speakers, headphones, or a
headset) to your VAIO computer.
To connect external speakers or headphones
1. Connect a speaker cable (not supplied) for external speakers or headphones to the
headphones jack [Details] or the headset compatible headphones jack . [Details]
Note
Turn down the volume of the speakers before turning them on.
Hint
Refer to the manual that came with your speakers or headphones.
To connect a headset
You can connect a Sony smartphone compatible headset to the headset compatible
headphones jack to make an Internet call and use voice chat.
Note
Your headset may not be compatible with your VAIO computer.
An external microphone does not work even if you connect it to the headset compatible
headphones jack .
If your VAIO computer is equipped with the headphones jack , you cannot use the
headset.
