Preparations
To Insert battery A1Slide the OPEN switch to open the cassette holder.

2Release the catch to open the battery compartment lid, and insert one R6 (size AA) dry battery with correct polarity.

Notes•For maximum performance we recommend that you use a Sony alkaline battery.

•Battery level indication is different for tape and radio due to different power consumption.

Press MENU repeatedly to set the cursor in the display to BL SKIP. Then press SET to show “z”.

*The tape is fast-forwarded to the next track if there is a blank space longer than 12 seconds.
