To turn the phone lock on

1From standby select Menu } Settings } Advanced } Security } Phone lock } Protection } On.

2Select an option.

3Enter the phone lock code and select OK.

To edit your phone lock code

1 From standby select Menu } Settings } Advanced

}Security } Phone lock } Change code. 2 Enter the current code and select OK.

3 Enter a new code and select OK.

4 Re-enter the new code to confirm and select OK.

To unlock the phone

1From standby select Menu } Settings } Advanced } Security } Phone lock } Protection } Off.

2Enter your phone lock code and select OK.

IMEI number

You can keep a copy of your IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number in case your phone should be stolen.

To view your IMEI number

•From standby press , , , , .

Master reset

You can reset some of the settings in your phone by performing a master reset. Content, for example, contacts, pictures, messages and sounds will not be deleted.
