Internet profile for Java™ applications

Some Java™ applications need to connect to the Internet to receive information, for example, games that downloads new levels from a game server.

Saved information

When browsing, you can save the following information:

Cookies – improve Web page access efficiency.

Passwords – improve server access efficiency.

It is advisable to clear all sensitive information from previously visited Internet services. This is to avoid misuse of personal information if your phone is misplaced, lost or stolen.

Internet security and certificates Your phone supports secure browsing. Certain Internet services, such as banking, require certificates in your phone. Your phone may already contain certificates when you buy it or you can download new certificates.

RSS reader

When browsing, you can receive frequently updated content, such as news headlines, as feeds via a Web site. You can browse to a Web page to add new feeds, if available. Really Simple Syndication (RSS) options are set via the RSS reader and shown in the Internet browser.
