Text messages (SMS)

You must have a service centre number, which is supplied by your service provider and saved on the SIM card. You may have to enter the number yourself. See Troubleshooting on page 36.

To write and send a text message

1From standby press .

2Select Text message. Write the message and select

Options > Send message.

3Select an option.

4Select Options > Send message.

To view a received text message

1New message appears. Select View.

2Scroll to the unread message and select Read.

3To view messages stored in the inbox, select Menu > Messaging > Text message > Inbox.

To get delivery status of a sent message

1From standby select Menu > Messaging > Settings >

Delivery report.

2Select On. You will be notified when a message has been successfully delivered.
