Bluetooth™ wireless technology

Your phone has built-in Bluetooth™ wireless technology which makes it possible for you to connect your phone wirelessly to other Bluetooth devices such as a handsfree, PC or other phones.

You can, for example, have a conversation via a cordless Bluetooth handsfree or browse the Internet, wirelessly connected via a mobile phone. You can automatically synchronize information in your phone and your PC. You can also exchange, for example, business cards, calendar items, pictures, sounds and themes.

Before you start

To communicate with another Bluetooth device, you first need to turn Bluetooth on, make sure that your phone is visible and add the device to the list of devices in your phone. You can exchange items without adding the device to the list. To synchronize with your PC, and to browse the Internet, you also need to install software on your PC from the CD that comes with your phone, or download it from www.SonyEricsson.com/support.

Note:

Please check if local laws or regulations restrict the use of Bluetooth wireless technology. If Bluetooth is not allowed, you must ensure that the Bluetooth function is turned off. The maximum allowed Bluetooth radio output power in the phone is automatically adjusted according to possible local restrictions. This means that the range may vary.
