Synchronization with a computer
Install the computer synchronization software using the CD included with your phone or download it from www.sonyericsson.com/support. The software includes help information.
Before installing any new or updated version of the 
computer software, all previous software related to phone and computer communication has to be uninstalled.

USB cable
With the USB cable included with the phone you can exchange information between your phone and a computer. For more information, visit www.sonyericsson.com/support.
To connect your phone using a USB cable
Your phone can be used in two different modes with the USB cable. To transfer files use File transfer and to synchronize use Phone mode.
File transfer
1Turn on your phone.
2Connect the USB cable to your phone and computer.
3 Select File transfer in the dialogue that appears in the phone. The phone turns off in this mode and appears as a removable disk on your computer. Browse and transfer files between the phone and computer by dragging and dropping.
