AFR SHOCK SETUP

1. Set sag:

See the attached air chart for starting pressure. Use a high-pressure shock pump to add air.

Push the rubber o-ring up to the seal, sit on the bike gently, dismount gently and measure the distance between the shock seal and the o-ring (sag).

Adjust air pressure until desired sag is reached. (This can be verified following the steps on p.6 or the measurements below the air chart).

Air pressures may vary depending on rider style and/or terrain.

2. Adjust rebound:

The red knob controls the rebound damping, the rate which the shock returns after the shock has been compressed.

• Turn the knob clockwise for slower rebound (slower speeds, bigger hits).

• Turn the knob counter-clockwise for faster rebound (higher speeds, small bumps, more traction.

3. Adjust compression:

Specialized AFR shocks are equipped with a spike valve to optimize the shock’s compression.

Low-speed compression (induced by rider’s body weight - pitching, diving) is adjustable by turning the blue knob.

• Turn the knob clockwise for a firmer, more efficient ride.

• Turn the knob counter-clockwise for a more supple ride, more traction.

NOTE: The spike valve system is a pre-set high-speed compression oil flow device configured to release a large volume of oil to prevent shock spiking at higher frequencies (terrain induced impacts).

The adjustable low-speed compression knob bypasses the spike valve.

FORK AND SHOCK INFORMATION

Setting the air pressure is crucial to getting the best performance from your rear shock and fork. Fork sag is less of a factor for ride quality than it is for a rear shock, but it serves as a good starting point. The air charts are designed to get you in the approximate sag range.

NOTE: These air charts are designed as a recommended starting point only.

Please refer to your shock and fork owner’s manuals for additonal setup information.

Eye-to-eye length: 222.3mm

Shock stroke: 63.5mm Recommended sag:

Home Gym specifications

In recent years, the concept of a specialized home gym has transformed from a luxury to a necessity for fitness enthusiasts. With the increasing demand for workout convenience, specialized home gyms are designed to offer a comprehensive exercise experience tailored to individual preferences and lifestyle. One of the main features of a specialized home gym is its versatility. Many setups include various fitness equipment such as resistance bands, free weights, stationary bikes, and multi-functional machines that cater to different training needs. This allows users to engage in strength training, cardio workouts, and flexibility exercises, all within the confines of their home.

Another important characteristic is the incorporation of advanced technologies. With the rise of smart fitness equipment, specialized home gyms often come equipped with interactive screens and connected devices. These technological features allow users to access a wide array of virtual training classes, track their progress, and receive real-time feedback. Wearable technology such as smartwatches and heart rate monitors can synchronize with the gym equipment, giving users valuable insights into their performance and health metrics.

Customization is also a key feature of specialized home gyms. Users can design their workout spaces to suit their personal style and functional needs. From adjustable weight benches to multi-station machines, the flexibility to choose configurations ensures that users can optimize their workout experience. Additionally, specialized home gyms often prioritize space-saving designs and ergonomic arrangements, making them functional even in smaller living spaces.

Aesthetic appeal is another characteristic that modern specialized home gyms emphasize. Many homeowners look for sleek and stylish designs that seamlessly integrate into their home decor. This includes options for different color schemes and finishes, ensuring that the gym space serves as an attractive area for exercise rather than an eyesore.

In conclusion, specialized home gyms provide a tailored and immersive fitness experience. With features ranging from versatile equipment and advanced technology to customization options and aesthetic appeal, they cater to a growing market of individuals seeking convenience and effectiveness in their workouts. As fitness continues to evolve, specialized home gyms represent the ideal solution for those looking to maintain an active lifestyle without leaving the comfort of home.
