In the garden of our dreams we al l have a lush green, tightly-grow n and well-cut lawn. In rea l life the picture may be some-
what different. What the school book tel ls us is that the difference lies in nutrition, water a nd care. What it forgets to
mention is the shortcut called Multicl ip.
It normally takes three steps to g et a good result: cut, collec t and remove the cuttings, water and a dd nutrition. At Stiga,
we have simplified the process so that you cut a nd fertilize in one go. I n the same action, water is retained at t he grass roots
so that the lawn can go longer without watering . The secret is Stiga’s unique mulching technolog y, Multiclip.
In only a couple of days, the grass cutti ngs are broken down and become natural f ertiliser. Because you sk ip the collec-
tion stage cutting is easier and fa ster. Despite spending mini mal time on garden work, you can compete w ith the neighbours
for the best lawn in the area.
MULTICLIP TECHNOLOGY
The actual Multiclip technol ogy is made
possible by a new system of spe cially designed
blades and an aerodynam ic and sound-
absorbent deck.
The grass whirls around in side the deck, where
it is finely chopped. The clip pings then land
on your newly-mown lawn, where they supply
moisture.
In the next stage, the grass clipp ings are broken
down and turn into natural fe rtilizer.
This symbol is for professionals who require
a completely vibration-free ma chine that
they can operate all day long wi thout suf-
fering from white fin gers or muscular
contractions. The P0 symbol indicates that
the machine does not cause any d iscomfort
despite being used for up to e ight hours.
Many of our products carr y the Swan
symbol, which is a Nordic e nvironmental
symbol for products with low emissions of e.g.
noise and exhaust fume s. The Swan symbol
means that our entire produc tion process,
from the choice of raw material s and manu-
facture through to scrapping and re cycling,
has been checked and approv ed from an
environmental perspective.
This symbol can be found on lawn mowers
that have galvanized cove rs. The five means
that the cover has a 5-year r ust-protection
guarantee. Here, too, we have been inspired
by the automotive industr y. The result is a
cover with good rust protection.
The Al symbol means that the cove r is made
of aluminium. We use the same impa ct-
resistant grade of alumin ium that is used in
car wheel rims, and the refore give a 20 year
guarantee on the cutting d eck for normal use.
This symbol means that the la wn mower
is supplied with a control for four dif ferent
propulsion speeds . The speed of the blade is
always the same, however. This m eans that
you can always adapt your spe ed according
to the grass you want to cut.
Would you like to save money and prot ect
the environment? Look for th is symbol,
which means that the lawn mowe r runs on
E85 ethanol fuel, an econ omical fuel with
a very low impact on the env ironment.
