:Open the twist lock above the rear handle and remove the carburetor box cover.
HD Filter

:Pull off the filter.

Box Filter
:Set the Master Control lever to l
:Pull off the outer half (1) of the filter.
After cleaning the outer half of the filter several times:
:Unscrew the slotted nuts (2) and remove the baffle (3).
:Remove the inner half (4) of the filter.
