Cleaning HD Filter

Dirty air filters reduce engine power, increase fuel consumption and make starting more difficult.

If there is a noticeable loss of engine power:

:Knock out the standard filter* (1) or fleece filter* (2) (outer half of filter) or fabric filter* (3) (outer half of filter) and inner half of filter* (4) on the palm of your hand or blow out with compressed air.

In case of stubborn dirt or sticky filter fabric:

:Wash the filter in a clean, non- flammable solution (e.g. warm soapy water) and then dry. Do not expose to high temperatures.

:Do not impregnate filter with oil.

:Always replace a damaged filter.

:Reinstall the air filter.
