Troubleshooting
If your wine storage unit is not operat ing properly, refer to
the following troubleshooting g uide before calling your
Sub-Zero authorized service cen ter or dealer.T his guide
will save you time and trouble and may he lp you avoid the
expense of a service call.

Is there electrical power to the unit ?
Is your home circuit breaker or fuse on?
Is the unit on? Depress the UNIT ON/OFF ke y pad.
Is the condenser area clean?
The wine storage unit is warmer than u sual.
Is the control set properly?

Have the door or drawers (model 427 R) been open for
a long time?
The wine storage unit runs for long p eriods oft ime.

On hot days and in warm room temperatures , the
compressor runs longer.

Have you recently added a large amount of wine?
Condensation forms inside the un it.
This is normal during periods of hig her humidity

During periods of high humidity, some conde nsation
may appear on outside surfaces. T he condensation will
disappear when the humidity drops .B e sure that the
door and drawers (model 427R) are clos ing and sealing
properly. If condensation persists, cont act your
Sub-Zero authorized service cent er.

When calling for service, you will n eed the model and
serial numbers of your unit. The num bers are listed on
the product rating plate. For model s 424 and 424FS,
the rating plate is located on the un derside of the top
wall. For models 427, 427R and WS-30 , it is attached
to the underside of the control panel .
