2.Look on the underside of the trimmer cutting head for the tap button (10), cord cartridge (11), and the trimmer cord (12).
Hold the cutting head with one hand and press the tap button down with the other hand. At the same time, turn the tap button in a counterclockwise direction. Remove the tap button.
Note: If the tap button cannot be pressed down, turn the cord cartridge to the right or left until it stops. Then proceed as described above.
3. Remove the empty cord cartridge.
