TROUBLESHOOTING CHECKLIST

Many service problems can be solved quite easily. The chart below lists potential problems and how to correct them. Remember, check the simple things first.

Unit will not operate.				1. Plug in power cord.

				Plug a table lamp into the electrical outlet
				to ensure power availability.
			3. ON/OFF Slide Switch	3. Set ON/OFF Slide Switch to desired speed.

Unit does	not operate			Set Slide Switch on HIGH. Run unit for
on “DAILY USE” setting.				one mlnute and reset switch to
				DAILY USE setting.
Unit does not remove			High Efficiency	Simply remove the High Efficiency Cartridge.
pollutants			Cartridge	Bylooking at it, you will see a discoloration
				of the white filters which lets you know that
				the unit is collecting.
Unit is making a			High Efficiency	Replace the High Efficiency Cartridge.
whistling/roaring noise			Cartridge
				It may be necessary to relocate your unit at
				least 4 feet away from TVs, Radios and Com-
				puters. Do not operate unit on the same elec-
				trical outlet as TV or radio.
Unit still does not			Recheck the above	Return unit to Appliance Service Station,
