CA R E AND CLEANING
CLEANING:
Unplug unit before cleaning. After unit is cool, wipe exteriar with a soft, damp cloth, then dry with a soft towel DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads.
DO NOT IMMERSE HOT WATER DISPENSER IN WATER
IMPORTANT: After continual use, a lime deposit may accumulate in the heating chamber causing longer heating cycles. The rate at which the deposit forms will vary depending upon the hardness of the water used and the frequency with which the unit is used.
TO remove the deposit:
1. Unplug cord from outlet
2 Add a mixture of half water and half white distilled vinegar solution (8 fluid oz. - 235 ml each) to the heating chamber and let it remain in the heating chamber until the deposit is removed. Drain the cleaning solution by pressing down on the DISPENSE lever. DO NOT HEAT THE VINEGAR SOLUTION.
3. Run one or two fresh water cycles to remove any residual cleaning solution.
