Never use the optical mouse on glass, mirrored or shiny reflective surfaces as these surfaces will cause the mouse to fail temporarily.

Cleaning the Optical Sensor

1Unplug the USB connector from the computer.

2Using a cotton swab and mild soap and water, gently wipe the optical sensor until it is clean. Never scratch the surface of the sensor.

3Plug the USB connector back into the computer's USB port.
