TDK RF Solutions’ PBA-2030 Precision Biconical Antenna is a new generation biconical dipole that covers the operating frequency range of 20 MHz to 300 MHz. The PBA-2030 offers an unprec- edented combination of power handling, balance, and pattern control, which makes it an excellent choice for both immunity and emissions measure- ments.

Immunity and Emissions Measurements For radiated immunity testing, the PBA-2030 is a highly efficient radiator with a low VSWR (<2.5:1 average). The PBA-2030’s moderate power handling capability (300W CW) accommodates the majority of IEC 1000-4-3 immunity test applica- tions. For emissions testing, the PBA-2030’s improved balun provides superior patterns and balance, while the internal choke effectively provides immunity to externally induced imbalance.
