INFLATING TIRES AND OTHER INFLATABLES
1.Open the Storage Compartment door by grasping the door at the top and pulling down. Pull out the Air Hose.
2.Plug the 12 Volt Power Cord into the cigarette lighter socket or any other 12 volt power port in your vehicle. For best results, make sure that the vehicle is running.
3.Attach the Inflator Hose to the valve stem of your tire or other inflatable.
4.If inflating something other then a tire, attach the desired attachment (Inflator Nozzle or Sport Equipment Needle) to Inflator Hose.
5.To begin inflating, turn the compressor ON by pressing the ON/OFF switch to the “I” (ON) position.
6.Turn the compressor OFF by pressing the ON/OFF switch to the “O” (OFF) position.
7.Place back the power cord and the hose to the storage.
NOTES:
•If the tire is totally deflated, it is possible that the tire could separate from the rim allowing air to leak out when trying to inflate. This usually happens only on completely flat tires. In the event this situation occurs, you will have to jack up the car prior to inflating the tire.
•The time necessary to inflate a tire will vary from tire to tire and will vary depending on how deflated the tire is.
WARNINGS:
1.Always use a tire gauge to check the actual pressure in the tire.
2.Inflatable material items will not have existing pressure readings. You must be careful not to over inflate.
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS:
1.Do not apply oil or any lubricant to this unit. It has been permanently lubricated during assembly.
2.Use only mild soap and a dampened rag with hot water to clean the plastic parts. Avoid all other types of detergent, cleaner or solvents, which might contain chemicals that could seriously damage the unit. All other services should be performed by a qualified person.
