The sharpness adjustment is active only in PAL or NTSC mode. The tint adjustment is active only in NTSC mode.

Press briefly to select the format : 4/3 or 16/9.
Whenever a programme change is made, the set automatically switches over to the 4/3 picture format.
Press briefly to clear the menu from the screen.
